Today is my four year anniversary of joining DeviantArt, and as of now I have 9,900 hits, which I find unbelievably cool

I don't know what I'd have ended up like had I never found this place (well, probably a lot less distracted on the net )

Anyways, thus come the thanks for those who have viewed, faved, commented on my work thus far, much love to you all

I was hoping to have some art to put up today but I'm still in a precarious arting state atm, not to mention have been working all summer (infinitely less fun, but v. necessary)

I look forward to the next (x) years, who knows how long, eh? It'll be fun finding out.

Now, I wonder if this is a viable excuse for cake?

My apologies for not sending thank-yous to the amazing people who have faved or watched me lately, I love you all to pieces

Stuff has been manic, I finished my Foundation Diploma yesterday, Monday we took down the exhibition, the three weeks before that we had the exhibition running and the two weeks before that was finishing off my Final Major Project and setting up the exhibition which was hell, never ever let me do it again!

So, anyway, I got a Pass for my Foundation Diploma, I'm a little disappointed I didn't get anything higher than that but hopefully they went to more deserving people (ie. the ones who needed them to get into Uni!)

As for myself I was given a conditional offer of a place at my first choice Uni, the condition being a 'ass' grade, so, yeah. The end of September 08 I'm actually going to the Uni of Portsmouth to study Animation. So all systems are go, organising stuff for that is mad (no more finance forms, please *sob*)and this week I'm just kind of drifting.

Old friends have come back from Uni, I'm supposed to be going out to a pub with my whole course to say our goodbyes, and out this Saturday to celebrate with my actual friends on the course x_x, (didn't mean that bitchy, I just mean the folks who I actually grew to love/adore/will miss LOTS).

So now I just have work, driving lessons, money worries and Uni to organise (Go Me!) It'll pan out.

I'm determined to take advantage of the time I have with my friends now, in the past I've been the sort to say 'sorry, I can't go out I have to do this...', so I'm not going to let myself miss out on anything I'll regret when I'm down the other end of the country and the opportunity is gone.

And it's great fun, if slightly painful. Am now sunburnt

So thanks for the support, I hope to get back into the swing of personal art at some point soon, and hopefully I will improve from here on in.

Last day of my Easter Vacation, is there anything more tragic?

(Looks innocently to the nice big pile of work she was supposed to do over Easter and... didn't)

_{Oh I lie horribly, I didn't get mountains of stuff done but I'm not so inept I did nothing, however much I may sound like it}

So, what's new, how you doin' and all that jazz?

I'm on my FMP at college, which is - hilariously - 'One Story' which is me looking at one story (Little Red Riding Hood) and trying to tell it through various mediums/ways. I'm having great fun. At the moment my project is in the photography exploration stage so most of what I'm uploading is photography with the camera I said I wouldn't buy

(In a nutshell, I still have my job, etc, half the workers quit so we hired all new ones so they let us keep the contract and my boss still has his job, meaning I still have a boss who will be flexible-ish with my hours and college. It's still not ideal but it's a wage better than nothing)

I'll try and post some of the drawings I've done for this project so far, but I'm not even halfway yet so I'm hoping to do better stuff before long.

As always I love constructive, helpful feedback. Tell me if it works or not! Is it telling a story? Is it any good in any way/shape/form. Am i doing horribly?

Anyway, it's back to college tomorrow, and because I worked all through Easter I get rewarded with one week at college where I don't have to run straight to work after each day. Bliss.

All I need now is for the head of my course to upload the timetable to our website so I would know exactly where I'm going tomorrow...

Anyways, hope those of you still on vacation are all groovy, and my condolences to those who are not - but good luck with school
